FUN WITH OUR SPEED BOAT!

Wakeboard, water ski, knee board or a tube ride: experience the calm waters around Koh Tao bouncing along behind out speed boat. We try to book in the watersports either at the start or the end of the day when most of the dive boats and ferry's are not around or we head to secluded bays with flat water to give you the best ride we can. Our boat hold 15 people and puts up a nice wake, coupled with our on board sounds system and cooler box for beverages and you are bound to have a good time. Rates: 1,200 THB for 20 mins. 3,000 THB for 1hr. 10,000 THB for 4 hrs. Please place booking in our office and is dependant upon boat availability.

Sairee Cottage Diving and Goodtime Adventures have teamed up to provide a more comprehensive BSAC powerboat handling and voyage planning course. With a cross range of instructors / examiners with varied experience in commercial shipping, offshore sailing, military water operations and of course dive boat operations. Additionally we maintain three types of dive boats that you will gain experience with different sizes, layouts and engines which will better prepare you for the range of dive boats in use throughout the diving world.

·         5.5m Zodiac Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) with a 115 hp 4 stroke Johnson engine

·         5.5m Sea Ray solid hull boat with a 115 hp 2 stroke Mercury engine

·         9.8m E320 multipurpose fiberglass hull boat with twin 115 hp 4 stroke Yamaha engines

 Boat Handler Course

·         6 x 60 min theory lessons

·         2 x 120 min practical lessons

·         Approx 4-5 hours boat handling time with diving operations

·         Includes BSAC guidebook, boats and equipment and all fuel requirements.

 Chart Work and Navigation Course

·         4 x 60 min theory lessons

·         1 x 60 min practical lesson

 Assessment

·         Voyage planning – 60 min

·         Boat handling – 120 min

·         Theory assessment – 30 min

·         Includes certification card with international recognition

 Course cost

·         6 consecutive days – 30,000 THB

·         Spread over 10-15 days – 24,000 THB

·         Spread over 30 days – 18,000 THB

·         Accommodation in AC dorm room @ Sairee Cottage is included for the consecutive course

·         Consecutive Course starts 4-5 days after PADI Instructor Evaluations every month.
